Save the date: November 15 - ALER Open Day: Angola and Mozambique legislation, tenders and bankable PPAs

On November 15, at 9 a.m. in EDP Headquarters in Lisbon, ALER will organize the ALER Open Day, an exclusive sharing forum to disclose inside information, contacts and foster discussion among participants about the current status of renewable energies in the PALOP.

 

The third edition of this event will be an opportunity to share the latest developments in the regulation of the energy sector in Angola and Mozambique, as well as information on the launch of tenders and draft of power purchase agreements for independent renewable power producers, alongside a debate with ALER Members

 

According to the provisional programme available here, we expect the following speakers:

  1.  Dr. Marino Bulles, Chief of Technical and Legal Department of IRSEA, to present the Angolan Case Study: PPA model preparation and the possible launch of tenders;

  2. Eng. Olga Utchavo Madeira, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Director at EDM, to present the Mozambican Case Study: From greenfiel projects to launch of tenders PROLER and GET.FiT;

  3. Eng. João Correia Bernardo, Director General of Directorate General of Energy and Geology, to present the Portuguese Case Study: Components for a successfull renewables tender;

  4. Dr. Isabel Marques de Sá, Chief Investment Officer of IFC to present the financer perspective: Components to bankable PPAs. 


ALER Open Day is an exclusive event for ALER Members, participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory here. Participation may be on-site or via skype.
