Foundation of ALER

The foundation ceremony of ALER was held on the 15 December 2014 on Vieira de Almeida & Associados head office.

 The ceremony included speeches from:

 •Jorge Moreira da Silva, Minister for Environment Spatial Planning and Energy and Honorary Member of ALER

•Pedro Neves Ferreira, President of ALER and representing the EDP Member

•Carlos Pimenta, Vice-President of ALER and representing the EDF-EN Portugal Member

•Isabel Cancela de Abreu, mentor of the project and Executive Director of ALER

 The ceremony had also the presence of the other founder Members of ALER namely APREN, FUNAE – Fundo de Energia de Moçambique (Mozambique Energy Fund), HBD, Hidroerg, Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Business Development of Cape Verde, Neoen, Partex Oil&Gas, RP Global, Uría Menéndez - Proença de Carvalho, Autonomous Region of Príncipe Island and Vieira de Almeida & Associados.
