Portuguese version of the RECP Mini-grid Policy Toolkit
The Portuguese version of the RECP Mini-grid Policy Toolkit was presented at ALER's Conference "Renewables in the Electrification of Mozambique" which took place on October 25-26 in Maputo, Mozambique. The translation of this document as well as the collection and updating of new case studies in Lusophone countries was carried out by ALER under the cooperation agreement signed between ALER and RECP.
The primary purpose of the Toolkit is to provide guidance on how to design an appropriate policy and regulatory framework for promoting investment in mini-grids.
The Toolkit is a product of the Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP) in partnership with REN21 and the Rural Aliance for Electrification (ARE). The RECP is an instrument of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) and aims at promoting renewable energy market development in Africa. This project was funded by the European Union.
