Capacity building training for the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association

The Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER) was in Lisbon from March 6th to 10th to participate in a training action developed by ALER, with the support of GET.invest Mozambique.

During the five days of training different capacity building topics were addressed, including: Project Management, Member Management, Internal and External Communication, Events Organisation, Human Resources, Strategic Plan and Development of Partnerships.

The AMER team, represented by Sheila Bila, Executive Director, and Helena Macune, Senior Communications Officer, considered that this opportunity "was essential to give tools of structure, organisation and good functioning for an Association".

The two associations, partners since 2017, jointly develop activities to promote and develop the renewable energy sector in Mozambique.

This collaborative process allowed to strengthen cooperation between the two Associations, while defining strategic action plans for future activities.
