1st Renewable Energy Forum in Angola

The mission of AIPEX - Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency is to promote and attract private investment, to promote exports and contribute to the internationalization of Angolan companies, to register private investment proposals and to facilitate the implementation of projects by providing institutional support to investors.

As a working tool, two projects were designed to accelerate the processes of investment raising and export promotion,called PROCIP (Private Investment Funding Project) and PROEXPORT (Export Promotion Projecto), respectively. Both projects are based on strategies that contribute to the economic development of the country, highlighting different sectoral activities in partnership with the stakeholders of the specific sector.

As part of PROCIP, I am pleased to announce the launch of the 1st Renewable Energy Forum in Angola, which will take place on June 19, 2019 in Luanda, at the Afonso Van-Dúnem Amphitheater " Mbinda "Kilamba Building, located in Avenida 4º de Fevereiro (Marginal de Luanda), starting at 08h30.

The Forum aims to present the context of the renewable energy sector in the world, the potential of the sector in Angola, the presentation of current regulations, projects and dissemination of business opportunities in Angola. We intend to gather around 200 stakeholders and investors at this event. You can check more information here and download the programme here.

The organisation of this Forum in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Water and in collaboration with the Boston Consulting Group is an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of this sector that plays a key role in the growth and development of Angola.

We count on the support of ALER in the dissemination of this event and the presence of its Executive Director as a speaker in the panel of successful cases in the world and Africa.
