A2E EDP Fund Webinar

ALER joined EDP in the organization of a webinar to present the Access to Energy Fund  that took place on December 17th and counted with 144 participants.

The Fund was presented by Guilherme Collares Pereira, International Relations Director and manager of the Access to Energy Fund, in particular for projects in Angola and Mozambique, for being countries of ALER’s scope of action. Marta Louro, also part of the Access to Energy Fund team was also present at the Questions and Answers session.

The focus on projects promoting access to renewable energy in developing countries is one of the commitments that prompted EDP to roll out yet another edition of the A2E Fund, aimed at both for-profit and non-profit organizations - the Fund will give each project €25,000 to €100,000.

Isabel Cancela de Abreu, Executive Director of ALER, made a brief presentation of ALER's activities in Angola and Mozambique, emphasizing that ALER is available for matching between entities in order to leverage possible partnerships who wish to apply to the Fund.
