ALER and AMER return soon to the Working Group on Mini-grids

ALER and the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER) will soon be returning to the Working Group on Mini-Grids, at an online meeting scheduled for 26th March at 11:00 (GMT+2 Maputo local time)/9:00 (GMT Lisbon local time).

After identifying and clarifying all the private sector issues on the off-grid energy access regulation in Mozambique, ALER and AMER promoted a debate with their Members on 28th June 2023 to prepare a new regime summary and draw up a mini-grid roadmap.

In this new meeting, the Working Group will discuss a legal analysis prepared by a legal consultant and a roadmap with the necessary procedures for developing mini-grid projects and solar home systems in Mozambique. These documents will be made available to all ALER and AMER members.
