ALER General Assembly December 2020
The ALER General Assembly took place on December 21st, with the participation of our Members exclusively online, due to the developments of the Covid-19 outbreak in Portugal.
The Activity Plan and Budget for 2021 was presented and approved unanimously, which includes the realization of several initiatives during the year, the first of which will be the organization of the Investment Forum and the Seminar for IPP Renewables in Mozambique 2021, which will be held on 22-24 March. Moreover, is foreseen to launch the Renewable Energy Status Report in Angola, part of the ALER report series, and the extansion of LERenováveis platform to other countries. Regarding ALER events, it is planned to organize a side-event on Africa Energy Forum 2021, which will take place this year in Brussels, among others that we hope to be able to share with you soon!
The Supervisory Board presented its assent on the budget for 2021, which it considered to be detailed and prudent, emphasizing that 2021 will be a year where ALER will recovery the activities that were force to cease in 2020 due to the circumstances related to the global pandemic of Covid- 19.
