ALER present at AEF 2024

ALER was present at the Africa Energy Forum (AEF 2024), which took place between 25th and 28th June 2024, in Barcelona. This edition, where ALER was a Partner Association, focused on "Energy Systems of the Future - Balancing Africa's Needs with Global Goals".

 

Isabel Cancela de Abreu, ALER's Executive Director, attended the event and met up with some Associates and Partners: GreenVentureAPP - Águas de Ponta PretaMiranda&AssociadosTTAVdAMewton; MCA Group; SonangásGET.invest and Alliance for Rural Electrification.

 

The panel "Country Spotlight: Investing in Mozambique", on 27th June, also included Pedro Coutinho (ALER Board Member) as a speaker and Nuno Cabeçadas, from Miranda&Associados (ALER Associate) as moderator. Marcelino Gildo Alberto, Olga Utchavo Madeira and Luís Ganje, from EDM (an ALER Associate) were also present as panelists and reaffirmed EDM's commitment to making Mozambique a regional energy hub (more information here).

 

AEF 2024 brought together stakeholders, investors and future leaders from the African continent to discuss project development, technological innovations, cross-sector opportunities and collaborations in Africa's energy sector. The partnership between the AEF and ALER has once again enabled ALER Members to enjoy a 20% discount on registration for the event.
