ALER visits São Tomé and Príncipe and Guinea-Bissau
From 16th to 21st February, ALER traveled to São Tomé and Príncipe and Guinea-Bissau to participate in various meetings.

The goal of these meetings was to engage in political and diplomatic consultations on potential cooperation activities aimed at strengthening the environmental sector in the CPLP member states.
Rita Marouço (ALER's Project Manager) participated in the Reflection Retreat organized by the Ministry of Energy of Guinea-Bissau on 18th and 19th February, to discuss the process of creating the electricity regulatory authority, diversifying the energy mix and the challenges of implementing solar power stations (a report on the meeting is available here).
During her stay, Rita Marouço also attended the second meeting of the AMAP project's Advisory Committee and met with the European Union Delegation in Guinea-Bissau and TESE (an ALER member).
