Applications are open for AFSIA Solar Awards

Registration for the AFSIA Solar Awards are open until May 13rd. In this year's edition, Isabel Cancela de Abreu, ALER'S Executive Director, integrates the jury of this annual event that aims to recognize and celebrate companies and individuals that have made a notable contribution to promoting and developing the use of solar energy in the African solar market.

All the applicants can choose among 13 award categories, which this year includes a new category “Productive Use Application” to acknowledge companies and innovators leading this fast-growing segment of solar in Africa.

The awards ceremony is organized in collaboration with the Africa Energy Forum and will be conducted live on June 23rd at 4.30 pm (GMT+0).

The AFSIA Solar Awards will recognize good practice, professionalism, quality, safety and innovation, with the aim of being a marker of the brightest and best that the African solar industry has to offer.
