Applications for financing sustainable energy projects for water production in Cape Verde are now open
The applications for the Nexo Energia-Água project are open until December 31st, with the aim to encourage, through funding or technical support, sustainable energy projects for water production in Cape Verde.
As it was announced by UNIDO-CV, the applications are open for projects of a public/private nature, linked to the production of water and energy from renewable sources.
Nexo-Energia Água was developed to promote demonstration projects on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, regarding pumping, water treatment or desalination systems, through the attribution of technical/financial support up to 30% of the implementation cost.
“Access to Sustainable Energy for Water Management: Nexos Energia – Água” project is promoted by the Government of Cape Verde, implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Energy and co-financed by the GEF - Global Environment Facility.
