Applications for the Women Sustainable Energy Program has ended
26 applications were received for the Women Sustainable Energy Program: 3 from Guinea-Bissau, 12 from Cape Verde and 11 from São Tomé and Príncipe. Selected candidates will be announced shortly and program activities will begin in the third week of February.
The selected candidates will participate in various activities in the upcoming months, such as webinars and workshops, conversations with inspiring women, as well as mentoring and networking sessions that will allow them to development their skills. The winning project of the program will receive 5000 US$.
The program has the goal to empower women in order to promote gender equality and equity in the development of the energy sector
This initiative is promoted by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and ALER and, is within the scope of the Project "Strategic Program to Promote Investments in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in the Electricity Sector of São Tomé and Príncipe".
