EU promoted a Workshop on Climate Change in Mozambique
The Delegation of the European Union in Mozambique (EU) organized, on the September 23, a Workshop on Climate Change: 100 days to COP21 at Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique.
This event aimed to discuss the challenges to be addressed and the solutions related to the global agreement reached at COP21 in Paris, with speakers from the European Union, the French Embassy, the Ministry of Land, Environment and Rural Development (MITADER) and other government and civil society organizations.
The Government of Mozambique made its contribution to the National Greenhouse Gases Inventory System. The first panel analyzed the environmental challenges, namely climate changes, in Mozambique and the other panel on the Carbon Credit Financing and other programs against climate change.
