German-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce aims to strengthen commitment to renewable energy development in Cape Verde

The German-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILA) wants to strengthen its commitment to the development of the renewable energy sector in Cape Verde through partnerships between German and Cape Verdean companies.

 

The intention was expressed to the press by the executive director of the Luso-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Paulo Azevedo, as part of the X German-Cape Verdean Energy Symposium being held in the city of Praia. The event is part of the X German Energy Business Mission, which takes place from 4th to 7th June, under the theme “Renewable Energies in support of the 2030 Energy Goals in Cape Verde: Focus on Solar, Wind and Storage” and which includes a vast agenda of B2B meetings between German companies and potential Cape Verdean partners.

 

The 10th German-Cape Verdean Energy Symposium was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Olavo Correia, who stressed the importance of the event for the country in strengthening partnerships in the renewable energy sector.
