New IRENA Report: Renewable Energy Statistics 2017

A new report from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) that sets out to provide comprehensive, reliable data sets on the latest developments in renewable energy.

The Renewable Energy Statistics 2017 yearbook shows data on renewable power-generation capacity, renewable power generation and renewable energy balances.

The new yearbook also features statistics on investments in renewable energy from 18 major multi-lateral, bilateral and national development financial institutions, presented for the period 2009-2015.

Recent developments in renewable energy are summarised by region in a “Renewable energy highlights” brief.
