RECP - Upcoming Trade Missions to Africa
The Africa- EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP), partner of ALER, will organize trade missions to Africa through this year.
The trade missions will inform European companies on local markets and regulations related to energy, and facilitate them meeting governmental stakeholders and their local counterparts and potential business partners. Each mission will consist of up to 15 European companies and up to 5 companies from other African countries, to meet with up to 20 local companies and all relevant governmental stakeholders.
The first mission will be to Uganda and Rwanda (1-8 March) focus on solar and mini-hydro, while the next mission will be to Nigeria (3-7 April) with a focus on solar and biomass energy (please find the flyers on these specific missions attached). All information on the subsequent missions will be published the RECP website. Participants will qualify based on minimum entry requirements, and subsequently be selected on first-come-first-serve basis. The registration for the mission to Uganda and Rwanda, and Nigeria is now open.
A trade mission to Mozambique is also scheduled for the 4th Quarter 2017, back to back with ALER's international conference. We will share more information as soon as possible.
