São Tomé and Príncipe officially joins the African Legal Support Facility

The President of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe ratified the Agreement for the Establishment of the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF), through Presidential Decree no. 11/2024, paving the way for full membership in the Facility.

São Tomé and Príncipe has a longstanding relationship with the ALSF and has collaborated on various projects. The ALSF is currently providing advisory assistance and capacity building for the São Tomé and Príncipe Government in the petroleum and energy sectors. The ratification of the Agreement fortifies this partnership and will continue to foster collaboration between the two entities.
