In October, the Angolan Renewable Energy Association (ASAER) has resumed the publication of its Bulletin, available for consultation here.

This edition's editorial, signed by Victor Fontes, the Association's President, highlights the role of renewable energies in Angola "ASAER hopes that this will be an indication, alongside the public investments already announced, of greater participation by the private sector in the effort to achieve the goals set out in SDG 7, one of the 17 goals that countries have decided to include in the UN's 2030 Agenda. Hence our great expectations of the announced National Rural Electrification Plan."

This edition of the Bulletin covers the latest developments in the renewable energy sector in Angola. This includes the approval of the guidelines for the Rural Electrification Plan, information on the new solar photovoltaic plants planned until 2026 and an overview of the activities carried out by ASAER over the last year.
