SOLshare wins Ashden Awards 2020
SOLshare, partner of EDP, ALER’s Member, won this year the Ashden Award for Financial Innovation for Energy Access.
SOLshare is a project implemented in Bangladesh that allows the transformation of solar home systems into mini-grids so that the people can sell the electricity that is produced in excess, which would otherwise be wasted. Read more about the SOLShare project here.
The Ashden Awards were established in 2001 to show how sustainable energy can transform lives. Over the last 19 years they have established an incredible track record of awarding, highlighting and helping scale enterprises whose solutions and business models have been at the forefront of a global energy revolution.
